Miss Ella’s Baby Ballet
Three Levels & Two Language Options
Toddler Ballet
Ages: 2-3.5 years old
This parent-child class is not just an introduction to music and dance, but also to basic ballet technique. Through the use of imagery, song, costumes and props, students work on developing coordination and musicality in a fun, dynamic environment. Listening skills and class etiquette are also practiced. The class is designed to begin formal ballet class structure and basic ballet vocabulary with parents participating as much as their child needs.
- Weekend TBD
Preschool Ballet
Ages: 3.5-5 years old
Preschooler Ballet class continues working on the same fundamentals taught in Toddler Ballet with different exercises to keep students engaged and new technique is introduced. A higher degree of focus is expected as the students not only improve their coordination, musicality and technique, but also as they begin working at the barre. Formal ballet class structure is expanded upon as well as group work, working in pairs, and leadership skills.

PreBallet
Ages: 5-8 years old
PreBallet class begins a formal ballet class structure of warmup, barre, technique exercises, stretching, center work and reverence. All the fundamentals from previous levels are built upon, but with greater expectations of focus and discipline from the dancers. Barre work becomes an integral part of the class, and short dance phrases are presented and worked on with the expectation of memorization. Some props and imaginative play are included in exercises.
